In this newly structured role, Kotyck will report to Tessa Ohlendorf, President, North America, and will be instrumental in scaling Coegi's operations across both the United States and Canada while expanding its partnerships as a managed service provider to other agencies and direct clients, says the agency.

"Chris brings exceptional programmatic expertise, investment management capabilities and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams", says Tessa Ohlendorf, President, North America at Coegi. "His growth-focused mindset and deep understanding of partnership management will be invaluable as we continue to expand our capabilities and deliver innovative solutions for our clients across North America."

Kotyck brings more than 15 years of experience managing high-performing teams, with a focus on identifying and commercialising consultative ways of working. Most recently, he led media operations at .Monks Canada, where he drove revenue growth through service optimisation, maintained minimal client churn and achieved employee retention in the low single digits annually, says the agency.

Prior to .Monks, Kotyck helped establish and scale Dandelion Inc., one of Canada's original Google Marketing Platform resellers. He also has leadership experience on the publisher side, having launched programmatic, search and social services and revenue streams at PostMedia and Rogers, adds the agency.

"I've worked with Tessa for years at MightyHive / .Monks, and the opportunity to revisit that partnership at Coegi is a dream," says Kotyck. "With the increasing democratisation of digital media, the complementary opportunities of AI and the overall evolution of the industry, there's a massive opportunity for Coegi to provide and augment services that our clients need. The structure and team at Coegi is primed to help our clients take advantage of the many opportunities in front of them."

The appointment aims to reinforce True Independent Holdings' commitment to strengthening its leadership team with industry talent who can drive growth and innovation across its portfolio of agencies, says the agency.

"Chris's appointment is a strategic investment in Coegi's continued growth and operational excellence," says Jack Miller, CEO of True Independent Holdings. "His expertise in programmatic operations, combined with his collaborative leadership style and growth mindset, makes him the ideal leader to expand our capabilities in Canada while strengthening our position across North America. We're excited to have him join the team."

This strategic move builds upon TIH's joining the Meet The People (MTP) group of agencies, which has aimed to enhance the company's ability to serve clients across North America through its expanded network of specialised agencies, concludes the agency.
