In its second year running, Leaping over Levels was born from the need to facilitate dialogue about the impacts of Covid-19 on businesses.

More importantly, it seeks to highlight the role of digital skills and tools in aiding the economic recovery of the SME sector.

"We are thrilled to host this event again, coinciding with Women's Month and World Entrepreneurship Day. We believe these platforms are vital in highlighting the resilience of women in business and finding ways to support them through information sharing," says Qhakaza Mohare, Digify Africa's chief operating officer.

The virtual roundtable aims to bring together female entrepreneurs leveraging digital tools to build thriving enterprises. The panellists will share their insights and strategies with entrepreneurs on how they can take on the world of business post-Covid.

Digify Africa supports SMEs through the Meta Boost, a series of free digital skills workshops that teaches entrepreneurs how to fully utilise the Meta Technologies, namely:
  • Meta Business Suite
  • WhatsApp for Business, and
  • Instagram for Business.

The sessions cover a range of topics such as:
  • 'How to establish your presence on Facebook and Instagram'
  • 'How to engage your audience with Instagram creatively', and
  • 'Get started with Meta Business Suite'.

Meta Boost aims to offer essential skills to help entrepreneurs to build sustainable businesses.

2022's discussion is themed 'WOMEN IN BUSINESS Post Covid-19 — Taking action and moving forward'. It will feature:
  • Mogau Seshoene, founder of Lazy Makoti Culinary
  • Buhlebendalo Mavika, owner of The Slice Delights Bakery, and
  • Ramona Kasavan, founder of Mimi Women.

These entrepreneurs will share insights on how they have navigated business post-pandemic and positioned their businesses to compete in their respective markets.

The roundtable's key talking points include:
  • the far-reaching impact of the pandemic on business
  • the current challenges faced by female entrepreneurs, and
  • the different ways they are embracing changes brought about by the pandemic.

Leaping over Levels promises an interactive engagement that will empower women to:
  • tap into the power of digital marketing
  • embrace opportunities in the digital economy, and
  • fearlessly tackle the business world.

Individuals are encouraged to join the discussion on this Zoom link. Leaping Over Levels will also be live streamed on Digify Africa's Facebook Page.
